The customer was tasked with designing a special version of the fan for pumping gases containing a significant amount of acid vapor. The technological limitation in the design was unconventional for such machines material-polypropylene and restrictions on the sound pressure level. Restriction on the material has led to the need for additional studies of the material and welds properties. The work was done successfully and highly appreciated by the customer.

According to the results of the tests, the fan showed the design characteristics.

The design methods of the CVRE Department and methods of computer modeling using the ANSYS software package are applied.
