16 MW natural gas supercharger outlet chamber optimization

Outlet collecting chamber flow part optimization of the natural gas two-stage centrifugal compressor is carried out. As a result, taking into account the customer technological limitations, the calculated loss coefficient in the chamber was reduced by 40%! Recommendations on possible ways of additional loss reduction in the chamber are given.

the methods of gas dynamic design of the CVRE Department and methods of computational gas dynamics using the software complex ANSYS were used in this work.
