Within the framework of the work, the compressor equipment domestic manufacturers potential for import substitution was assessed; the modern world and domestic levels of compressors industrial production for the oil and gas industry; the state and competitiveness of Russian technologies and compressor construction equipment in comparison with advanced foreign analogues.

The main purpose of the work was to determine the current potential of Russian manufacturers for compressor equipment import substitution for the oil and gas industry.
